The annual University of Georgia Fans’ Picture Day will be held this month on Saturday, 
August 21st, at Sanford Stadium in Athens, GA.
In years gone by Bulldog fans have also met athletes from some of the other teams at picture day. From men’s and women’s basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, and volleyball players; and players from the softball and baseball teams.
Picture Day activities usually take place on the 100 level concourse of Sanford Stadium near field level and UGA football Coach Mark Richt is typically all throughout the North side concourse between sections 101-100.
Fans wishing to get their picture taken with Uga VIII or Coach Mark Richt can obtain a ticket at the East End ticket windows, located off East Campus Road, beginning at 8:45 a.m. It is my understanding that the first 100 fans receiving a ticket have a guaranteed opportunity to have their picture taken with Uga VIII while the first 200 will receive a guaranteed picture opportunity with Coach Mark Richt.
For entry into the stadium check Gate 6 and Gate 2 at noon. In years gone by we were able to bring in two items to be signed.
Parking on campus is always fun, but according to my contacts, fans have parking available to them at East Campus, Clarke Howell, Legion, and the Tate Center.
